Beget
Amazing little hidden gem set between two beautiful clear creeks. Step back in time by visiting the little church built over a thousand years ago! Save from a fire in 1936 by the residents. Then cross over the bridge built in the 14th century then stop by the fountains built in the 18th and 19th centuries.
If you're up for the drive and don't mind making a lunch stop as much about the journey as the destination, then Beget is a perfect addition to your stay in Catalonia.
Park at the small parking lot just on the edge of town, then walk into town. Stop by the church
during their open hours, during the summer Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 13:00; Saturdays and Sundays from 15:00 to 19:00 or during the winter schedule Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 13:00; Saturdays and Sundays from 15:00 to 17:00. Eat at Hostal el Forn for the most amazing lunch or dinner. I recommend the Catalan style escargot! Check out the small shops and town or head out on a trail.
If you're a hiker, there are many trails that intersect through this little town, so you could plan this stop along with a hike in the Alta Garrotxa Nature Reserve. All Trails route

Consider also stopping at the amazing of Castellfollit de la Roca.
Castellfollit de la Roca rises 50 meters above the river Fluvià on a basalt cliff formed by two lava flows. It is the gateway to La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. Follow the narrow alley to the old church of Sant Salvador, on the edge of the cliff, where there is a viewpoint with wonderful views.
