Torroella de Montgri

Just a few kilometers west is the slightly larger municipality of Torroella de Montgri. We've found it a fun extension of L'Estartit.

There's a lovely promenade right in the center of town. We enjoyed getting a coffee at El Raco Del Cafe and sitting in the open air. Many others were having an early morning light beer. You're on vacation, right!

Nearby is a fun courtyard worth exploring, The Placa de Pere Rigau. We had a lovely meal at the adjacent La Boheme Torroella.

Museum of the Mediterranean: Nature, culture, and diversity of the Mediterranean. Exhibits for children and a Hall of Beasts and Giants, as well as other permanent and traveling exhibits. https://www.museudelamediterrania.cat/

There's another open-air market on Mondays from morning until midday.
