As your home base, L'Estartit has a lot to offer. Dining, beach and watersports, open-air market, local shops, hiking, rock climbing, and biking!

Torroella de Montgri

The historical inland village of the small fishing town, L'Estartit. Check out the open-air promenade for a morning Estrella or coffee, great pastries, open-air markets, and more events.

Verges

From L'Estartit 14 km, 17 min

If you're looking for a quiet off the beaten path side excursion, then Verges is perfect for you. Simple little cafes, restaurants, art stores, vintage/antique shops and a fun historical walking tour.

L'Escala

From L'Estartit 18 km, 25 min

L'Escala is a another old fishing town that still honors its roots with several anchovie salting factories. Check out the beaches and coves, Roman and Greek history and neighboring town, Sant Martí d'Empúries.

Evan's stepmom, Emily, took us to this magical little Medieval place when we visited Spain with her. It was full of hiking and dining adventures between his dad, Lee, and Emily. It's sure to be special to you too.

There's plenty to do and plenty of visit guides to fill up however long you're staying in Barcelona.
