Salvador Dali
Dalí is iconic in the area. Visiting any of them will be well worth the time.
Of the three museums, we strongly encourage you to make a day of Port Lligat and the Dalí Home Museum, Cadaqués, and Cap de Creus.
You may need reservations a few days ahead for any of these experiences, so plan ahead. If you can't make it to Port Lligat and are tight on time, visit Gala's Castle, which is the closest Dalí experience, and add it to a medieval village tour. Or, if you don't choose Cadaqués, add the Theater Museum to a day in Figueres. You can also visit his birthplace in Figueres, and add the Figueres market and the Toy Museum to make a day of it.

Gala Dali Castle
Distance 19.8 km Drive time 24 min
Pubol is perhaps the least well-known Dali location, but it is the closest to L'Estartit.
Dali bought this place in 1969 and renovated it under his direction as Gala's personal home. It would later become her resting place. It is said that he only visited the place when she invited him.
Dali Theatre-Museum
Distance 41.9 km Drive time 44 min
Considered Dali’s last great work, the Dali theatre-museum is the largest collection of his work and a real insight into his long career. We haven't visited this museum yet, but it's high on our list.
