Beach and Waterfront
L'Estartit offers all the options you could want right at the water.

Bring chairs, blankets, umbrellas, etc, and enjoy the sand beach. On dry days, you can park right on the beach.
Walking south along the L'Estartit beach towards Pals and Begur, you will reach a truly unique spot on the Costa Brava coast within half an hour, La Gola del Ter, where the River Ter meets the Mediterranean Sea. Here, you can alternate bathing in the sea with swimming in shallow river waters with a powerful current.
During peak season, you will also find rentals for paddleboards, kayaks, boats, diving, and snorkeling.

The waterfront is also home to Espai Medes, a Marine Interpretation Center, where you can learn about the rich cultural and natural richness of the Montgri Natural Park, the Medes Islands, and the Baix Ter. https://www.espaimedes.cat/es/inicio.html
